you are going to have to be really strong right now. it is hard to accept, but you are going to have to say goodbye to her. there are going to be some unresolved questions, though. i think it is important for you to talk to your mom about what will happen to you in terms of guardianship...is someone going to be around to take care of you. having some idea of what is going on, even though it is hard to talk about, will ease your mind.

by no means am i saying that this event is a good thing, but i think that the experience, since it has to happen, will yeild positive results. everyone is the way they are because of the things that they have to go through. your situation is an unhappy one, but it will make you grow as a person.

try to tell your mother everything that is on your mind. let her know how much you love her; talking to her will help you both. and the road ahead will be bumpy...try your best not to let your emotions get the best of you. think before you speak and don't say anything that you'll regret when it's too late.

First up, I just want to say I really feel for you and hope that you get peace back into your life as soon as.

Whatever happens, make quite certain that you and your sister stick together like glue. You are going to need each other in the coming months.

Of course you're scared. You wouldn't be human if you were weren't.

My brother-in-law has the same thing. There should be an operation that they can do to take the tumor away. If that has already happened, and just like my brother-in-law has unfortunately failed, then you and your sister have to seek help from someone who will be willing to take you in. Does your mom have any close friends who would be able to do that? If, however, the operation is a success, then your mom will recover and life will eventually go back to normal.

Try all options and then and only then try the government. Really only use that as a last resort as you and your sister may get split up.

I hope this helps somewhat, take care of yourself.

Hi, Gabriella-

Your Mom doesn't need to die from cancer! What I'm going to tell you is ALL TRUE.

According to Dr. Hulda Clark, 95% of ALL cancers can now be CURED, even very advanced cancers.

She says, "We have all believed that cancer is a SINGLE disease. That a malignant cell starts it all. This is not true. Cancer is TWO diseases. Malignancy is the second and last disease to set in. By curing this LAST disease, (malignancy), as we did in 'The Cure For All Cancers', the EARLIER disease becomes visible. This earlier, FIRST disease is TUMOR-GROWING. It is a distinct and different disease from malignancy.
Your body has built-in tumor shrinkers. Obviously, they are not working. Why? They are blocked. You only need to unblock them. It does not take months or years to unblock them. It only takes DAYS to do this and begin the shrinking process." From "The Cure For All Advanced Cancers", ISBN 1890035165

Get it. Use it. Don't let your Mom suffer needlessly with surgery or radiation. What have you got to lose by trying it? A month and $15.00? A lunch for 2 is more than that.

Why have you never heard of this before? Because there is a news blackout on it, and the AMA IS BEHIND IT, FOR FINANCIAL GAIN. They rake in over $50,000 average per cancer patient with their present treatment protocol, and will NOT let that slip through their fingers.

Why are you hearing about this now? Because it really HAS been proven to work, and they can't, CAN'T get rid of the books for fraud, and they are burying it to prevent it from getting national attention somehow.

Why doesn't anybody know about this? I do know for a fact that when I mention this on Yahoo! Answers, my comments get removed by medical people who don't believe this is real. But I--and others, I'm sure--keep trying, and eventually WILL find a way. If you had not contacted me, I could not have given you this information. Once a person has attracted attention, it is extremely difficult to be heard. Doesn't sound like America, does it? Best of luck.

I am so sorry that this is happening to you and your family and I wish I could say something that would make everything alright. Who will be taking care of you and your sister if your mother passes? They can be a source of support for you now. Is your mother a Christian? Are you? I am and can't imagine going through something like this without the Lord in my life. He can be a great source of help for you and I do believe in miracles and I have seen my friend healed from cancer. After all He is the "Great Physician." Give her all the love you can because it must be heartbreaking knowing that she may one day leave you and your sister behind. All I know to tell you is to just lean on the Lord and He will get you through this. God bless you sweetheart. I'll be praying for your all.

Hi sweetie, I know what you are going through as I too lost my mum to cancer on 27 May 2006. Be with your mum all the time you can, she needs you both now more than ever. I know it is difficult to see a loved one especially your mum suffer with cancer. You do not say if she is taking any chemo, my mum knew from the beginning that she was terminally ill with colon/liver cancer and she opted to have chemo even if it was just to prolong her life.I started writing a diary everyday just writing down what was happening, what we did together during the year and 5 months my mum was ill and when ever I feel like it I open my dairy and remember the precious moments we had together. Sweetie I know that whatever we say to you might not comfort you but be strong for your mum,I never used to cry in front of her as I did not want to worry her anymore she had enough already coping with her disease, but when I was not with her I cried my heart out. Your mum will be in my prayers sweetie and I will also pray for your sister and yourself to be at peace. If you ever need to talk do not hesitate to email me. God Bless You all.

Just reading your story is breaking my heart.I know exactly what you are going through, sweetheart. My mom has stage 4 ovarian cancer and it has spread to her stomach and one kidney has shut down completely..The doctors don't know how much time she has.
I and my older sister spend as much time with her as we can.We joke and talk about happier times. It helps to act as normal as possible, but still, we have to walk away and cry..
I know the day will come when she will pass, but for now all you can do is be there for her.You have to be strong, girl.I know it is hard, especially at such a young age.But you and your sister will find the strength together, to do it..And it will be hard. But pray and love her as much as you can..
Also, and most importantly, give her lots and lots of hugs and let her know you love her.
If you need someone to talk to,I'm here for you..my e-mail is on my profile...Thinking and praying for you and your family...ladybug

Spend lots of time with your mom during this next year. Make every day count. New treatments are being developed which can add a few more months.

Is your sister older or younger? I'm so terribly sorry for you both.

If it has metasticized, than there is probably not much that can be done at this stage. The doctors are doing all they can for her.

My mother's father died of pancreatic cancer when she was young. It is always terrible. This is a terrible thing for someone your age to have to deal with.

Talk with your mom now and begin to plan. She needs to leave a will that specifies who she wants you and your sister to live with and be cared for after she passes. I know it is a difficult reality to deal with, but you and she will feel better knowing that you will be cared for by someone that you both know and trust.

I would recommend that you all go in for family counseling together. A good therapist will help you all cope with this, and help you all appreciate to the best possible ability of all you the time that you have left. It iwll be hard and it will be difficult.

I haven't read these books, but I did a search for you, and you might find these books helpful too.

I am so so so so so so sorry, Definately spend time with your mother... I know this is going to sound stupid but I will give you a link to a web site in which you may purchase holy water from Lourdes, France... like i said this will sound silly but in the past this water has been apparently said to cause some very unlikely miracles http://www.lourdes-water.org/buy/lourdes-water-c-25.html?osCsid=f25ca79eb587e82fdea90ed2783c0c0c... I will keep you in my prayers, I am so sorry
