Ok here it goes, my teeth are terrible, almost all of them have rotted away, I can not smile because of the shear humiliation that it brings me. If you saw my teeth you would swear I have been doing meth or something, but that is not the case. I do have a job and I do have dental insurence, but they only cover a Grand of dental work a year,...that simply will not do it for me, I need help in finding somewhere in my area that can help me get my life back.
As of now, I am an alcholic pot head that uses these controlled substances to escape the reality of this werecthed existance, brought upon by the screwed up genetics I was given.
By the time I was 4 I had 4 silver front teeth...dna has played a cruel trick on me, I think I'm a handsome guy, but when my mouth opens, nothing but unequiviable rank comes out. Someone please help me before I end it.

If your teeth really are that bad, you could always get dentures or a partial.
Also, if you are getting teeth pulled it is LOTS cheaper to have it done when you are not put asleep (but still numb) and you need to make SURE you lay off the excessive amounts of alcohol for at least a week before you get the teeth pulled or else you will bleed a lot.
I know all of this would be expensive, but sometimes dental offices can have payment plans you can go on. And even if you wanted to wait until next year to have one of your dentures or partials made, you could still get the extractions so your mouth can heal.
You should definately go to a dentist and see what they recommend. And just go in prepared for the worst. There could be lots of options they recommend and just take it all in and ask for copies of what they are proposing. But things get better. Lots of people are in the same situation you are and we just slowly chip away at everything that needs done. Just be positive and know that eventually down the road you can have a wonderful mouth that you are happy with again. :) Sometimes good things take time.
And sometimes a 1k/yr dental plan is the best you can get. I know some plans have a 3k/yr max but sometimes your employer doesn't give you a choice. And definately try to at least lessen the amount of pot you smoke (and eventually quit hopefully!) and save up your money for your new smile :)

Go to a dentist that isn't too expensive and get a full check up. Have them do x-rays and anything else that they need to do. If you have insurance then use it, who cares if it only covers 1k that's a start to fixing your teeth. Stop drinking alcohol and smoking weed because that money can go into fixing your teeth. Since your teeth are really bad it wont be fixed that quickly, so it might take a year or two to fix and heal completely. Talk to your dentist about your financial status and see if they can do any payment plans or work something with you to help fix your teeth. Good luck the later you wait to fixing your teeth the worst it will get and it gets more expensive. So keep that in mind. IF your having trouble finding a dentist.. try looking for a dental school. They do dental treatment for real cheap. Its dental school graduates who are practicing and its under the watch of a experienced dentist. Going to a place like that could save you a lot of money.

If you do get your teeth fixed in some way or another, using marijuana and alcohol to cope with what life throw's one's way can very well put you back to square one not to mention, as someone else pointed out, that you can save your money from those substances, and put it into getting your teeth fixed.

My suggestion would be to get yourself cleaned up emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, physically by seeking counseling (Detox if necessary for the alcohol which can have serious or even fatal consequences if stopped without dr's supervision) for your addiction(s) and also talk to a dentist about your options as far as dentures, bonding, veneers (they're supposed to be quite expensive though) or any other procedure that the dr feels would give you the most attractive smile possible.

Please do work at getting sober and getting a support system in place of positive people in your life, that is not hanging around with those that use pot, alcohol, pain medication to self-medicate or any other substance like that and utilizing other healthy coping skills such as relaxation techniques and such. You can most likely learn those types of things and so much more in a rehab program. Please take good care

P.S. How about checking out the local dental school since they may be more affordable.
P.S.S. Did you say give up?!! I hope that you were not talking about ending your life!! There are definately viable options for someone with a troubled smile. If you are seriously thinking of committing suicide, here is a helpline: 1-800-SUICIDE

Take good care. You deserve it! :)

Think about changing jobs to a better dental plan. It's not just your teeth that need fixing; you need a fix in life.... people will see passed your perceived teeth problem to the greater you.... but YOU need to make some changes first. Sacrifice your crotches for money and save it. You teeth will do better, and so will your body, mind and spirit. Lean on others if you serious, and they will help.

My granny has no teeth hardly, and she IS beautiful...

You have to use what god did give you and that's your brain. I myself am a OK looking guy but I'm no George clooney, so i use my brain and my silver tongue to get by in this life. Try not to worry about what others say because anyone that would tease you about your teeth has no class to start with in the first place. As long as you are happy with yourself then what others say should not upset you.
