That is a good bench amount. If you look at guidelines put out by the National Strength and Condition Association, a 1 Repetition Maximum of 130% of your body weight is considered to be above average for men. So you are doing well.

There is no magic number. The important thing is that you improve yourself. If you can do 6 reps now, try for 8 next week, then 10, then 12. When you reach 12 and are comfortable, add 5 lbs. Don't push yourself too hard, or you may get injured. This improvement should take 3-4 weeks.

Eat only when hungry and eat/drink only three times a day. Only exception is for diabetics. Water can of course be taken. Chew each morsel 32 times so that ur brain gets signal that u have had enough. Take regular exercises and brisk walks. U will loose/gain gracefully and attain the required weight in reasonable time period.

Bench press about 1/2 of your weight. Then if that is easy work you way up and stay at that weight for another week then add some more weights. Have fun but slow and easy wins this race.
