as a civilian yes. glasses or contacts dont matter as long as you can pass the medical test. and that is not to hard. i wear contacts and i have my license. you will run into trouble if you want to fly for the military though. as long as they are correctable to 20/20 (i believe) you will be just fine.

For people with spectacles medical requirement is still not very clear with the ICAO requirement, some people with vision problem get through medical examination while some are rejected for no reasons mentioned. It would be better for you to to do the class 1 test before investing money in your training. All the best!

Yes of course unless you are too blind not to spot an aircraft or reach the cockpit on your own. There are allowable limits on these (for a civilian commercial pilot it is quite cool). But to my knowledge, specs or contacts is a big NO for Military aircrafts

Yes, I have a Canadian Commercial Pilots licence. I am training to become an Instructor, & I have worn glasses since the day I 1st started my flight training.

Yes, 20/20 vision is no longer a requirement for military pilots (apparently it's more important to have smart people in the cockpit). People who wear glasses tend to be smarter, or smarter people tend to wear glasses, so they dropped the perfect eyesight requirement.

Yes. i have 20/40 vision and i have to wear glasses in order to fly. So no big deal.

But i dont think you would be able to for the military.
