I recently gained 20 pounds. I weigh 150. And I put some jeans on that I usually wear, but had not worn in about a week.(size 10) and they fit me big now. Like literally falling off. But I weighed myself and I weight the same! Whats the deal.

First of all you cant always rely on what the scale says because so many things are involved, what you ate, water retention, time of the month, etc...if you have been working out for the last few months you can very easily be losing inches and staying at the same weight since you are building muscle. I dont know if dehydration can have such a big impact. I suggest you just sit back and enjoy this new you :)

Eat only when hungry and eat/drink only three times a day. Only exception is for diabetics. Water can of course be taken. Chew each morsel 32 times so that ur brain gets signal that u have had enough. Take regular exercises and brisk walks. U will loose/gain gracefully and attain the required weight in reasonable time period. U have gained muscle mass whose density is more than that of fat and hence the loss of inches.

relies upon on waht you attempt to loose... if you're overweight, in case you pass weight-reduction plan and exercising consultation religiously, honestly you'll see pounds being shed off earlier you'll locate transformations on your waistline. because, fat have a tendency to carry truly some water in, and with salt (from junk foodstuff), the further you bloat up like a balloon! yet in case you eating routine, eat in effortless words once you're hungry and on time, avert snacks, no longer ingesting 6 hours earlier you pass to mattress, exercising, do cardio routines for about 2 hours immediately (without relax) each day... i can not imagine the way you should no longer see bring about 2 weeks!

You can absolutely lose inches and the scales be the same. This is normally because you're losing fat and gaining muscle. (Since muscle is denser, a pound of it doesn't take up as much space as a pound of fat.)

that is absolutely possible. you could be burning fat and gaining muscle, along with losing inches, which if you ask me is all that matters, i couldnt really care less what the scale says as long as i can get my pants on! good luck!

You are losing fat and gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat and takes up less space. Good on ya!

Its not really possible.

Maybe your weigth shifted or something...

OR

Maybe you did lose weight but gained from, say, eating. If you lost a pound then ate a pound then yes it would be possible.
