You are college graduate and have permanent job. He is a driver and no permanent job. Your family and relatives are CONSERVATIVE type of family, and they have a lot of expectations from you.

if you like this person then what everyone else thinks shouldnt matter if you even think about these things then maybe you dont like him as much as you think you do and if those things do matter to you then you dont deserve him and you are just as shallow as your family and relatives are. i do realize this prob isnt what you want to hear , i myself come from a conservative and wealthy family i am a college graduate and i had a permanent job/career but the man i married was none of those things and we are very happy we arent poor and even if we were then we would still be happy together just think about your question.

HOPE THIS HELPS AND GOOD LUCK WITH WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was the father I'd probably shoot myself. (assuming the driver is the one that's 12 years older)
If my daughter was 35 and wanted to marry someone that's 23 and not working full time I'd say go for it.Then again if my daughter was 60 and he was 48 and not working I'd say honey make sure you get Prenuptial agreement because he is only interested in your money.
It all depends on the age you're talking about

NO... i'm a women and i dont want to have a greater financial responsibility than my husband, a husband should have a responsibility to make a living for his family, He couldnt expect me to do all those things for him.

beside, i have responsibility to my family, of course my family expect much from me and i think i need to satisfy them.

beside, i think a driver and a college graduate have a different social status and it's hard to adjust when you're husband is "lower" than you,,, there will be lots of problems and you and him will be burdened

If it's love, then I don't see why not. Although you may be on the fringe because of the age difference (although 12 years is not as much of an age difference as it used to be), you must encourage your conservative parents to accept you and your significant other.

Age difference that too where the man is younger by 12 years is a matter of great concern. You need to be cautious. Please advice him to leave you alone.Sympathy will not help. This type of relationship is not going to last and you should not encourage it.He needs counseling or send him to a psychiatrist.

Please please please look down the road and understand that someday you're going to want a house, and kids, and have someone there who can help pay the bills, maintain credit and whatnot. I told my sister in law and 2 others not to get into this type of relationship and they did what was fun and exciting and went after who they "loved" and called me a jerk. Now they wish so bad they'd listened to me because they guy has either left, or is never home and they are raising their kids as a single mom.

Get away from him!
