I would say Delusional Disorder because he appeared to have an imagined attachment to two women who didn't reciprocate He felt he needed to "save" the prostitute by performing some kind of heroic act. (Erotomanic delusions) I don't recall seeing any evidence of hallucinations to qualify for Schizophrenia. The fantasy play with the gun in front of the mirror doesn't look like response to hallucinations to me. His delusions didn't show the bizarre content more typical of Schizophrenia (magical thinking, hyper-religiosity, etc.) A lot of people would probably say PTSD since he was apparently a veteran, but I don't recall any scenes that suggested he was tormented by memories of past trauma (such as bad dreams, etc.). He could have also had Paranoid Personality Disorder, but I think Delusional DIsorder is the main thing.
