Where can i find pictures of chinese symbol tattoos?

Caution! Only have a Chinese person who actually writes Chinese do this. And even at that make sure they have extensive Chinese calligraphy experience because like writing in English, you can have great Chinese or bad Chinese writing.

Simply copying it from a book isn't going to help because if that was the case many of the Chinese character tattoos wouldn't look atrocious.

If you live near a Chinatown, go there. If not, avoid getting a Chinese character. You'll be glad you did.

FYI, when I lived in China, one of my friends told me about an American who got a Chinese tattoo that everyone made fun of. He thought it meant "warrior's glory" but it simply meant "chicken" -- as in the bird. And the calligraphy was horrible as well.

Just go to yahoo and in the search bar type in chinese symbols. It should bring up a lot. You can print out any symbol and take it to a tattoo shop and they can make a stencel out of it. Same goes with pretty much any pictures. If you search for actaul tattoo pictures I garantee you will hardly find anything.

I worked with a guy. He and his wife got tats - he said they the Chinese symbol for Devotion.
But the Chinese guy in the office explained they were actually symbols for Devotion to Religion !

Be careful - you don't know what you will really get!

oh get it from chinese person, i always see chinese character tatoo that said i F@@@ my mom or some thing, its just so funny, so dont just go and get some random ones, cuz translation can mean many things in chinese character, not like english. i saw one mucho guy with fabulas on his sholder lol
