This is vague, but the Church is supposed to be the voice of Jesus.

If that's true, Jesus has a potty mouth. We're not saying very nice things.

Christians believe that no one can and should have power on earth because were all "Gods children"

Isnt it a sign of corruption if one man, came out and said: I am the voice of Christianity as a whole?

Jesus isnt around. And even when he was, he never claimed to be the ONLY voice of God on earth.

Every once in a while, a humble and very wise person comes along. Some believe that Christ makes many appearances on earth to set an example. Right now, some believe that an Indian woman named Mata Amritanandamayi or Ammachi is the present incarnation of Christ on earth.

The holy spirit is the voice of God on earth. No one person is. Many people try to hear it honestly. Many people misinterpet, some honestly some for personal profit.

Who speaks for any religion as a whole?

Only the organised church needs human leader and there are many--the Pope, Archbishops etc. Christianity connects individuals to God and from Him to one another. They need no sngle voice as each voice (multitudes) speak the same mesage by the same Spirit, from the same God

Jesus is still his own voice, but he speaks through many things.
its just not a big booming voice like it once was because we would not respond to that the way they used to, It would be like Jesus trying to talk to you through a pop-up ad.

Nobody.

Christianity is divided, with the Orthodox calling the Roman Pope anti-pope and his followers - heretics. And vice versa.

nobody can speak for christianity as a whole because there are too many different interpretations of the bible and different christians can't all agree on one set of guidelines.

the individual.

now many people would disagree with me when i say that but in order to udnerstand you need to look at the christian culture. each person who goes on a missionary trip or each person that does anything to spread the diseas...uh....goespel of god considers him/herself an "Ambassador Of God"

theres an old saying where i come from (california)

"if you cant talk the talk, dont walk the walk"

if youre claimin that your job is to go and witness to people who dont beleive (like me) you best be prepared to get into a debate and defend your position. if you cant you have no business going around preaching.

if you continue to do it then its safe to assume that

1. you have no idea what youre talking about and...
2. all youre preaching is that your religion gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside and other than that you know squat about it.

enjoy!
