I believe that happens because of hairs growing under the skin, clogging pores and thus causing your breakouts. It is also possible that one of the lotions/creams used by the specialists performing the laser hair removal to cause you an allergic reaction. you should ask them...
on the other hand, microdermabrasion can help, but you have to wait at least a month after finishing your hair removal sessions. by removing the top layer of the skin, micro abrasion unclogges the pores and prevents more breakouts and pimples from appearing again. on the other hand, my exfoliating a thin layer of skin, microdermabrasion canhelp you get rid of all acne scars and blemishes. But remember to wait at least 4 weeks after laser to start a microdermabrasion treatment (professional OR at-home).
Hope this helps,
Joanna

it obviously is something involved in the hair removal process, whether it be the lotion, the laser or something else. Try using a product to really dry out your pimples like tea tree oil for now, and I suggest you consult with the person doin the removal. Also take it easy on all the treatments, microdermabrasion wont in my opinion do anything for the acne. See a dermatologist.

It can be caused by in grown hairs, or hair shafts, that are trying to work themselves out. It should go away with time. The second possibility is that a laser treatment can active bacteria that already resides there....it can basically accelerate the process so that pimples that would have presented themselves over time show up all at once.

Ingrown hairs can be the problem. I have been breaking out alot since I started my hair removal too. Its when they shave the area that my acne gets worse. I blame the shaving which can cause the ingrown hairs. Before you go in to get your laser done, trim the hair with scissors really short, that way they dont have to shave you. It will make the process easier.

Before you spend a fortune on microderm abrasion, try using witch hazel on the offending areas. My guess is that the hair is trying to grow back, but curling back on itself due to damaged folicles. If you treat the area with witch hazel, the little tiny hairs will grow straight, (they're going to grow anyway for a while) and you won't have the ingrown hairs, which DO resemble pimples.
