I know its hard. Im @ a private christian school and proble theres 3 times as much drama as there is @ any other school. But u know what? i deel with it. what i do if its an insult, i turn it into a compiment. if some1 gossip something bad about me, i think, o! now every1 knows my name, im popular for the day. but lets say u some laughs @ u, or emmbared u (parents) laugh @ urself with them, cause the thing is, if u get mad or something, thats what they want, if u go along with them theyll ignore u.

Now, for the gun shooting, down here in San Antionio, we had one of the best school (Regan) had a gun shooting and i think killed some1. but i want u to go talk to the principal about the situation @ ur skool, u never know, u might just change the skool.

You sound like a smart person. You've been in school for 11 years, and you only have 2 more left. It wouldn't be smart to quit now. You just have to play the game for 2 more years and you'll be free from all the drama that is your school. It sucks that you're stuck in a place that isn't working for you. Even though you said you have to go to schools you're assigned to, there are people who put in for transfers and get those transfers. If you can provide your own transportation, it's possible you can transfer to a different school. If I were you, I'd talk to a school counselor about how to go about the whole process for next year. Explain honestly why you'd like to transfer. You shouldn't have to feel unsafe in your own school, and the fact that you're even contemplating quitting should send up some pretty big red flags to the adults in your life. Best wishes!

If you can't learn at school then do it on your own. Sometimes you have to take you education into your own hands. Go to the library and read about things. Watch documentaries, do it because you have the drive to. If you want to learn so badly then don't let anyone stop you. So many people throughout History weren't given the chance to go to school, but that didn't stop them. Take it back for you. Start a revolution, go public with it. Make it known to everyone what a joke the school is and let them know you think they could be doing better.

Stand up now or you will never have a chance to learn again.

Good luck!

I know what you mean, I went to a school like that, aside from moving away there is not much that you can do other than let your teachers know you really do want to be somebody and you really do want to learn. Keep up with your studies, and try not to let the fighting get to you and you will make it.

I made it, and it seems like just about every class period a fight was being broke up and class was never going to happen. I did manage to graduate and I did go on to college, I just had to set my mind to say that I was going to be somebody whether they wanted to be somebody or not.

Good luck hope it all works out for you.

Thats nothing!! My Jr. high school has 1800 kids. Why not go to a different school if the kids are distracting you so much. It seems you do need help learning if your grammar skills are that bad. "i be wonting to learn"? Come On!

If you "be wonting" to learn, you can. Read books and study yourself. Do NOT drop out of school. Your councelor and your teachers should help you. Maybe get toutoring somewhere. I am in 9th grade at Fremont Jr High and I think its a little silly that the 9th grade is still in Jr High here in this school district. We are a very ghetto too. Play it safe there won't you?

I am totally on your side. I am a recently retired elem teacher, and my former students come to me and say they can not learn because of the poor behavior of other students. If you could find someone to homeschool you or get your GED at a local city college. Check with church youth group leaders even if you don't attend, they often have home schooling help. Good luck and hang in there, you will make it .

I went to a highschool in Arizona that had over 2,000 students, and it was VERY hard for me to learn because the classrooms were overcrowded usually 40 students in a room and I wanted to learn. All you can do is deal with it or get your GED, I think getting your GED would be great, or you can do what I did, I did online highschool, I got to stay at home away from all those ******* and get my education (highschool diploma). There were 2 highschools in Arizona offering onling classes for free, if you can do that, that be be great for you. Good luck.

Can you stay with a friend or a relative during the school week to access another school district? We keep my 12 year old goddaughter here so she can go to the middle school by us. We are listed on her school records as "daycare." We take her home on Friday and pick her up on Sunday.

I understand your position .If you feel so boring and tired going to school then do one thing.this may not be best suggestion but it may help you .Get yourself engaged in some thing that interests you.Like you may like to read books so read more and more until you feel you don't have time to read some books .Like wise join some courses that interest you......
try it .It may work
have a great and wonderful life
