i've been in a relationship with my first love for 8 months now. we've broken up twice, once at 3 months, then again at 5. the first time because we both weren't happy, and sort of missed the single life. then the second time because we agreed that we weren't ready to be "in love" we got back together, about 2 weeks after the last time. now i'm beginning to think i've lost the love i had for him at first and that i'm bored within the relationship. i think of this kind of stuff, then he does something out of this world that makes me think it'll all find its way back together. lately we just spend weekends sitting around at either of our's houses watching movies. i mean, no doubt, i love spending time with him, the same ol' same ol' just gets boring. what do you think about the situation?

u can definately regain love...it happens all the time. just work for it, if u want it bad enough, u will get it

Well, you can regain lost love... But, to be honest, it doesn't really sound like there was any real love there in the first place. Just some fondness. You two seem to be on and off again so often that you just like, not love, each other. Though I've never been in love, I've always taken it to mean that you were happy being bored with them, and weren't really bored at all.

your first love isn't always your true love. i had a "first love" when i was 15/16. If you get bored, and you break up often then it's just a sign that maybe you weren't meant to be. And that is ok. Life goes on, and the one for you will come around.

It can be regained if it is real. If it's not real then it's time to move on. It's only real when you can accept his faults and he can accept yours. When you want to do many things for him to make him happy and he wants to do the same for you. Good luck and God bless!

It sounds like the word love doesn't really mean much to you.
If you can blow it off by saying your bored then it's not love.
