I had some pretty good luck last year with Match.com . Recently I tried a 7 day trial with True.com and when I canceled on the 6th day they wouldn't allow me. They said they were holding my account open for a couple weeks. Tried to cancel again and couldn't get a response. But then found out they took $49.99 out of my bank account & another $3.00 for some other nonsence. Check with BBB when you find a singles. I also have done Yahoo and had some good contacts & some not so good. Check the cost and if canceling , do it with in a couple days or more before the exspiration date. Good, luck!!!!!!! If I recall, Match.com and True are both pretty costly. I did meet someone that met her match on Yahoo & got married.

Susanna, there may be lots of sites but I really suggest you avoid the dating sites. Everyone says nice things but being able to relate to someone real and in person beats all. Try these suggestions:

1. Groom immaculately
2. Dress nicely
3. Spend an hour a day in the library
4. Spend an hour a day at the gym
5. Volunteer a few hours a week for a worthy cause
6. Help someone every day
7.Go to Church
8.Invite your friends to Church
9.Take group dance lessons
10.SMILE

Good Luck

My dad used eharmony. Out of his provided matches he found a lady who he liked very much and is now engaged to after only 3 months. She is so sweet and fun and my dad is so happy and in love and it's awesome!!! I think eharmony is the best because it sets you up with matches from people that are similiar to you on a personal level. Most match sites people just browse photos and only look at the really good looking people and therefore they only base their relationship on looks instead of what counts and lasts. I would recommend it and am considering trying it myself... being as I am 23 and can't seem to find anyone since high school :(

Good Luck!

Haven't subscribed, but I heard eharmony is good if you're interested in a serious relationship. Excexpt the costs are very high and they find matches for you. You can't search through a bunch of profiles. You can try their personality profile and get matches for free: www.eharmony.com.
I've read a lot of critisms on the web, though, so can't say from personal experience whether it's good or not

Try Dateinasia.com. It isn't just Asian people on there but you should find someone serious there. I fell in love with someone from there. We have been corresponding thro emails, airmail, phone calls, we talk on yahoo messenger plus leave messages on the site for each other until he gets to the usa. He has most of his paperwork already done.

DONT DONT DONT look for love online dude! im serious! thats scary plus u dont know what kind of crazies you'll run into. seriously, your best bet is to let love find you in REAL LIFE, be it, the workplace, bars u go to with your friends, even the gym or park.
