make sure that the last number is at least 2 numbers larger than the first.(ie 347) invert the number. subtract the original number.invert that number and add the two

Hmmm. Is the answer always 695? Pretty neat if that's the case.
Edit: Except it isn't. Only if the last digit is exactly four more than the first. Methinks you've missed out the last part, whatever it may be.

459...954-459= 695. So the answer is always 695. Neat trick. I guess you use that as a party trick to make people think you are psychic, right. Hopefully not a drunken party trick, cause I know when I try subtraction when I'm drunk, it always comes out wrong.
