I am a sinner like everyone else except Jesus but homosexuals seem a little touchy on the subject as well as secular progressives. Who really shouldnt care since SP's dont have a religion. And for all those out there who belive in God, the devil also belives in God and look where it got him...

Because they have no religious beliefs in the sense of a God that gives rules and has to be obeyed. Their belief is more like 'if I feel it, then it has to be good'. They are touchy on religious issues because they are indicted by the religions.
That the devil believed God and it got him nowhere is reading the bible out of context. The context is that the devil knows there is God yet rebels and disobeys. Everyone who does the same will get the same judgement with the devil. Those who believe-meaning those who know God is real, accept him, obey him etc. are assured of His love and care here and in eternity

Well, as a gay atheistic agnostic, there's not much you can say about my personal religious beliefs. However, there are many gay Christians in the world, and many churches that believe the antagonism shown toward gay people spawns from misinterpretation of the Bible's passages on the subject. The United Church of Christ, the Metropolitan Community Church, the Unitarian Universalist Association, and the Episcopal Church by and large embrace gay people into full membership, including ordination.

So if you think you speak for all Christianity, you don't.

I don't get upset when my religious beliefs are questioned. I will happily explain my Deist beliefs to anyone who asks. What I get upset about is when someone else's religious beliefs interfere with my quality of life. You can believe whatever you want, but that should not effect me or my beliefs.

I would guess they get riled up because their faith makes even LESS sense (if thats possible) than other Christians. Its one thing to believe total nonsense, its another thing entirely to believe total nonsense that denounces you as a person. It only goes to show the unfair control religion has on people.

God did not come to this world to condemn it, but that it might be saved through Him. John 3:17. Be careful not to push people away from God in your attempt to lead them to Him.

I'm confused with your question, are you siding with a particular group? Homosexuals shouldn't get upset when people question their religion because the bible clearly condemns homosexuality.

And the devil got where he is now because he's selfish and wanted everything for himself.

I think they have the right to get upset coz at the end of the day...there is no religion suitable for them...so...what options they have?

And yes devil believes in God, but his problem was the arrogance...

The same reason anyone gets upset when their religious beliefs are questioned.

Why does anyone get upset over their beliefs?
Taking offense over one's beliefs, is a sign of weakness!
It also shows that the believer has doubt!
