An extremist is an extremist; You do not see Christian terrorist groups on television here in America or the actions they take part in. The MEDIA (for the most part) exemplifies these religions through their most extreme members. These extreme members are people misguided and mislead from what the religion actually intends to teach, but the people of today (not everyone) are too ignorant to learn the truth, or even want to learn the truth about these religions/stereotypes and just want to accept what they see/hear on TV or radio as the truth. We cannot portray a religion based on the few who are misguided. You also have to remember that the media is all about the money and their ratings, so lying or distorting the truth on certain cases to rake in the profits is not a new tactic, and most of the time it is done very sneakily. This time, the Muslims are the victims to their greedy money-making schemes who take advantage to leak out false information on the Muslims during this time period as a way to attract viewers. It works, does it not? Blowing up abortion clinics is not a sign of pro-life goodness either, but I don't judge all of Christianity on these misguided few!

As a Catholic, I "have issues" with Christian fundamentalists.

But I wouldn't consider them to be as dangerous as Muslim extremists. Unless there are some fundamentalist Christians out there blowing up marketplaces and hijacking airplanes who I don't know about.

specific in concept. i don't be attentive to concerning to the behaviors of christian fundamentalists in 2nd or 1/3 international countries yet i'm attentive to three of their movements in first international countries. because of the regulations of those countries they do no longer get away with as much as muslim extremists basically via greater valuable regulation structures secure practices and so on. that's connection with on a regular basis occurances and not substantial ones such because of the fact the oklahoma city bombings and 911. you won't be in a position to easily seem on the christians and muslims without thinking the countries that they paintings from. it may be lots greater durable to establish something which includes 911 interior the u . s . a . than it may from the middle east. Infiltrating the u . s . a . is easier than working from interior. (atleast it became into then) lots of the fundalmentalist compounds and communities are being monitored via the FBI and different agentcies that don't exsist in 1/3 international countries. this gives you the muslim extremists an area that the fundamentalists basically have not got. notwithstanding, i think of in the event that they have been given equivalent opertunity they could be the two risky. The choose for violence is basically as super between the fundamentalists as that's genuinely considered one of the extremists. Abortion clinics and physician assinations are basically an occasion of the fundamentalist blood thirst. One additionally basically needs to seem at historic previous as nicely. Christian fundamentalists/extremists have a historic previous of violence. The burning circumstances, salem witch trials and the various conflicts that plagued the various early christian settlements interior the u . s . a . whilst it became into basically colonies. the various christain settlements interior the colonies have been so violent over their various opinons concerning to the bible (minus the quakers) that the founding fathers stated them as between the optimal reasons if no longer the optimal clarification for freedom of religion interior the shape. So specific they're basically as risky. this is basically a count of opertunity and skill.

I think that some of the so-called fundamentalists are either not really Christians (professing not possessing) (where is the love?) (those who bomb abortion clinics, etc.) or are either very immature Christians that gives us a bad name. A true follower would follow Jesus' example in being meek and humble. We will see many atrocities, injustice, and much evil because of the antichrist spirit in this world today but through the Scriptures we believers are told how to handle the signs of these times and what our duties are until His second coming. It is written, that we would be known by our fruit: Love, joy, peace, self-control, meekness, kindness, and goodness. If you don't see this in a professing Christian, than he is not of God.

Christian Fundamentalists (of which I consider myself one) will assist the police in hunting down so called "Christian" wackos who kill abortionists. Muslim Fundamentalists will not assist in the hunting down of terrorists (Bin Ladin) who kill, calling it in the name of Allah.

There's a very good reason for this. Bin Laden is a true Muslim. Just as Billy Graham is a true Christian - and with both of these individuals, they're doing ALOT more than the typical member of their respective faiths, but the members look up to them and send them money to support "the cause".

The extremists among the Christian fundamentalists are a good deal more dangerous. They are actively attempting to impose their religious beliefs on America--and have made it cleaar they are willing to trash the Constitution to do it. And tragically, their "anointed of God" Bush (their phrae, not mine) is killing a lot more peoplethan the muslim extremists are.

Nope, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.
