Sweet! I'll be the 1st one to answer who is actually a soldier!
Thanks to everyone who supports us too.
The stuff we get in care packages over there is crazy, unfortunately, the one thing we usually crave (beer) we can't have. Oh well, I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything.

I recently joined the Army National Guard. I am a democrat/liberal. I disagree with this particular war... but I find it very improper to put down American troops or speak negatively of the Army because of the misuse of politics. If it were not for people willingly joining the military, our country wouldn't have the capabilities of freedom we so proudly have. Please do not speak against American Soldiers who would die to protect you. Thank you!

No, but I know many people in our Army, Nat'l Guard, and I know two Marines, and they appreciate even the smallest messages of support from home.

I love how the headline of the question specifically asked "Are you a US soldier?", and nobody that answered actually was. At least to this point. I want to personally thank all of you for your support. It is appreciated at all levels, and means more than you know.

No, but my husband is a medic in US Army, active duty. I love him and am proud of him. Thank you fellow service members and their families!
