I need to loose like 20 pounds in under a month. Does anyone have any tips? Oh i should also mention that my parents aren't exactly health freaks and i'm sort of doing this behind their backs so i don't think there's a way i can get healthy snacks. I was about to try not eating at all but i thought that maybe someone out there could help. Thanks :) Oh i'm 15 and i'm like 20 pound overweight (which is why i'm trying to loose all the weight)

Let me share with you how I lost 15 pounds quickly!

1. Stay away from the following foods...Just Say No:

mayonnaise, butter, salt, sugar, pork, sausage, bacon, all desserts, all sodas, potato chips, pizza, all fried foods, cheese and ice cream

2. Do 15 - 25 sit ups and push ups every morning and every evening. This will only take about 3 minutes.

3. Drink water and cranberry juice throughout the day.

4. Get plenty of sleep.

5. Eat at least 6 small healthy meals every day.

5. Eat oatmeal, yogurt or fresh fruit between meals when you are hungry.

By following these steps, you will burn the fat and lose weight quickly.

You are fortunate that you are young, you will be able to burn a lot of energy. I lost a good deal of weight by staying away from junk food. Your parents will be no help if they are providing you with high sugar, high salt, high complex carbohydrate foods. You need to control your diet and apettite before anything will really work. Stay away from soda. One serving of soda has 10% of your intake for carbs, and they are bad carbs (sucrose) Sugars from fruit and vegetables (fructose) are better. The fibre from these foods are also good for your health. Next, you need to exercise. You can't metabolize the food (Good or Bad) by sitting around. Try running, it is a good cardiovascular excercise. Start small and work up to your limit. You will see your tolerance level for longer distances come naturally over time. Do not overdo excercise, it can do as much harm as good if not done properly. Do some research, and follow what you find based on your needs. In all honesty you should have started two months ago, though.------See the response from 'coolevenat2inthemorning'. He's right.

Eat only when hungry and eat/drink only three times a day. Only exception is for diabetics. Water can of course be taken. Chew each morsel 32 times so that ur brain gets signal that u have had enough. Take regular exercises and brisk walks. U will loose/gain gracefully and attain the required weight in reasonable time period. Do not attempt to fix such impossible and dangerous targets.

20 pounds in a month is a big ask - exercise, exercise, exercise, eat healthy (if you starve yourself you LOWER your metabolism and reduce your body's efficiency at burning calories) and drink lots of water.
