so we all know God never lies and never changes, he is the same, he was the same, and he is gonna be the same forever.

let me clear the point before the question.

1-God reveal himself to abraham, noe, enoch, moises, etc, but he never revealed jesus until 2000 years ago.

2-he did a promise to the jews that the tora was never be replaced, and he will be with them forever.

3-even jesus say it, that God was only one, and that he had no division. neither by 3 or 4 or nothing.

so, one of these, what do you think?, Did God lie to the people before Jesus?, Is he able to change or to regret what he say? or, he havent change and Jesus is no God, and your religion lied to you? ask your priest if necesary, and email further comments to omard.skp@gmail.com

I am a born again Christian, but for life of me, I cannot understand what you are talking about. God is not liar, and the Bible should not be mocked. Do not be deceived, God is in control, and in the end every knee WILL bow, and every tongue Will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Whatever is left of the old Christianity, we have no idea about. For surely people like St. Paul have taken the liberty to emphasize things Jesus himself, never emphasized.

Jesus always said there was One God.

So did Moses.

Therefore the Torah wasnt replaced. It was supported fully. Because the original message: that God is One was supported through Jesus.

But many a water has passed under that bridge.

Many people have lost what Jesus was trying to say.

When people say only Jews, or Christians or whoever will go to heaven, theyre very wrong.

Only those who believe in the One God, the Creator of All and do good deeds and stop doing bad ones, will enter heaven.

As a muslim I dont feel my religion lied to me : )

The analysis of Torah, Gospels or Quran might always give place to some confussion, coz everyone can manipulate the information.

But I dont understand ur point in numer 1...He revealed to Jesus, the time, is not important, He did it, otherwise Jesus wouldnt have been His messanger.

Point numer 2: jews might say whatever they want, but they made Allah upset, among other things becoz they believed their were superiors and never share the message nor spread the feith. They should had share this knowledge but they were selfish.

Point number 3: Yes He is only one, and yes Jesus knew that...but christians distorted the truth...

but at the end of the day, there is only one thing that counts: Allah (swt) can change His mind any time He wants...that`s what Gods do : )

1. Yes, Jesus was born later. So? Add another person/reason telling the same truths. 2. OK and has He left? God is not in Heaven? There are no Church's? 3. Knowing the place..chapter and verse your talking about would be a real help. A person can take anything out of context and make it say whatever they wish. They could turn the original meaning all around.

1) Hello! Jesus Himself said "before Abraham was, I am". The Bible also says "in the beginning there was the Word (Christ), and the Word (Christ) was with God, and the Word (Christ) was God". So Jesus is God, so he's eternal. You think He wouldn't know part of himself?

2) where? and even so, the Bible includes the pentecoche and the jewish laws...

3) exatly. Ever heard of the Trinity? You cannot separate God. He is 3 distinct persons but they all are parakletos (from the Greek, all of the same essense). They all are God, just different parts that are neither dominant nor subdominant, all unified in mind, spirit and body.

no offense but, you REALLY need to do some research

sorry but that is a pretty sad argument, the examples you give don't really prove anything. In the first argument, Just because God did not reveal Jesus until later does not mean He changed His mind, He had it planned that way the whole time, we can see that through the prophecies that He decided to share with us and through symbolism. e.g. Abraham sacrificing His son was to symbolize how Christ would be sacrificed, except Abraham did not have to go through with it, God did.
The second promise about the Jews was neverr proved wrong, they still have the torah, and Israel is protected against complete annhilation.
and the third point you made doesn't make much sense because God is one, the Holy Spirit is one, and Jesus is one.
God is way above us in His ways and in His thinking, don't attempt to prove Him wrong, it's a foolish attempt.

DavidHaoman, I'm not attacking you. I just wanna say something to the Holy Bigots:

God has never said anything.
Some people wrote things and then they tried to make other people believe what they had just written had a divine, indisputable origin.
Nowadays, if someone came telling "God is speaking to me ! I can hear Him inside my head !"... well, that guy would be sent to a psychiatric institute...

How come most people still don't realize religions are only about social power/control ?
WAKE UP GUYS !!! Face the fact religions have only caused wars all over the World. Not to speak of the thousands of times when it slowed the progress of science.

Basically supposed to unify people but much more often tearing them apart...

QURAN is the only WORD OF GOD in ORIGINAL/PURE FORM. Reason is clear in the verse below, that GOD promised to protect QURAN.

[15:9] Absolutely, we have revealed the reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.
http://www.submission.org/q-t.html...

The Quranic challenge (since past 1400 years, present and future)

Here are the verses that mention the challenge;

Say, "If all the humans and all the jinns banded together
in order to produce a Quran like this, they could never
produce anything like it, no matter how much assistance
they lent one another." [17:88]

If you have any doubt regarding what we revealed to our
servant, then produce one sura like these, and call upon
your own witnesses against GOD, if you are truthful.
[2:23]

This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than
GOD. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a
fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from
the Lord of the universe. If they say, "He fabricated it,"
say, "Then produce one sura like these, and invite
whomever you wish, other than GOD, if you are truthful."
[10:37-38]

If they say, "He fabricated (the Quran)," tell them, "Then
produce ten suras like these, fabricated, and invite
whomever you can, other than GOD, if you are truthful."
[11:13]

Do they say, "He made it all up?" Instead, they are
simply disbelievers. Let them produce a Hadith like this,
if they are truthful. [52:33-34]

I honestly am not sure what point you're trying to make...I think it is the division of opinions between Christians and Jews and old vs. new testaments. God didn't lie to the Jewish people. He promised a savior and messiah to the Jews and that is prophesied in the Torah. The difference is that Jews are still waiting for their messiah and Christians believe he's already been born, lived, died and resurrected. Jewish don't believe Jesus is the messiah primarily b/c they believe he DIDN'T fullfill the prophesies....why would that be God lying? It sounds more like a difference of interpretation and opinions of humans.

Jesus IS the WORD of God.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness but the darkness has not understood it." John 1:1-5
Just as we have a body, soul and spirit, so does God have 3 components; Father, Son, Holy Spirit. So no there are not more than one God, God is one person with 3 components.
The Torah was not replaced but fulfilled by Jesus.
