I think Jesus was sent to clear away sins yes, but through the proper teaching of morals that people lacked at that point in time.

I think not that his death had anything to do with it, mainly because thats a very easy way out for the rest of the world.

What do you think?

The idea of clearing sin is very figurative, simply implies for you to take control of your life and clear your own sins with proper behaviour. Nothing more nothing less.

Islam is a monotheistic faith the picture of Christianity and Judaism. Christianity and Judaism is the nearest faith to Islam, no longer Hinduism or stuff like that. We trust Jesus turned right into a prophet the picture of Muhammad and we adore Jesus. it really is what maximum ignorant, mind-washed human beings do not comprehend. And opposite to Jews, Muslims well known Jesus Christ because the Messiah no longer Muhammad notwithstanding we adore him too. we do not trust Jesus died on the pass. we do not trust Jesus died. We trust he ascended actual as a lot as Heaven. study the Quran and not at all pay interest to ignorant crackers. notwithstanding you look extremely sensible because you comprehend that believing Jesus is God's son is the numerous element that differentiates Islam with Christianity. We trust each be conscious interior the Quran is God's uncorrupted be conscious so as it really is why we do not trust Jesus is God's son. Why do Christians trust he's? We see Jesus as a prophet - a human who was divinely guided. He came with a messege for people to learn and obey. In so doing they would sin less (but not have sins cleared/wiped away).

I think God is able to clear away sins himself without having "his son" die for it. He is God. He can do anything. So I, like you, agree that the clearing on sins was through the teachings and not the death.

[4:172] O People of the Book! exceed not the limits in your religion, and say not of Allah anything but the truth. Verily, the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah, and a fulfilment of His word which He has sent down to Mary, and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and say not, 'They are three.' Desist, it will be better for you. Verily, Allah is the only One God. Holy is He, far above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And sufficient is Allah as a guardian.

I think Jesus was a great man. That isn't enough to clear away all sins, but it's a good model for us to live up to.

What do you mean by "easy way out"? Are you implying that his suffering on the mount of olives and crucifixion was an easy way out?

I think the death was like a scary part in a movie, when you don't know what's gunnu happen. When he ressurected, imagine how overjoyed Jesus' friends and family were and they were reasurred that they were saved.

I agree with u, and I am a muslim. We should not expect that we can enter automatically in heaven just for believing in Jesus.

He brought us the message of God, our salvation is up to us.

Isa(PBUH*) did not come to clear our sins away. He came to teach people to worship ALLAH in Islam.
