Help picking the perfect Halo Tattoo?

Question

I'm looking to get Master Chief done on my leg. But I'm having problems finding a good picture of him. I need a pic of him standing up almost staight. I want something that shows his pain. Any of you seen a pic like that or could draw one up for me?

Also please dont post comments about how I shouldn't get a halo tattoo. It doesn't matter to me (I already have a Star Wars Tattoo so the geekness wont matter heh).

As a tattoo is something that is permanent you should not rush into having one done just for the sake if it, as it may well end up being something you regret for the rest of your life . The removal leaves unsightly scars and is used only as a last resort. I would advise you to think carefully about the deign and not to get anything dine that includes a persons name or is too topical and will date in a couple of years. Think about what the design will look like in a few years time, especially as your skin ages. If you are going to get one make it small and somewhere that you will be able to cover easily, as there will be many times when you will feel it is not appropriate to show off your tattoo as much as you may love it. There are some beautiful Japanese and Celtic designs. What ever design you decide to choose, make sure you choose a very good artist and one with excellent hygiene standards. I think at the shoulder is a good place as it is easily covered by most tops etc, when you don't want to show off your tattoo. First of all, I have never heard of someone getting a Halo tattoo before. So, congratulations for being original. Power to the geeks. Screw the chick above who is "begging" you not to get it. When you're old, you look wrinkly and saggy and not very good anyhow, why not have fun while you don't? So, try Google image, perhaps the site that created Halo will have some cool clip art. I know this isn't much of help, but I just wanted to say that I don't think you're stupid. Good Luck.

OMG...my boyfriend is getting a halo tat next week. But just the symbol. I personally think the cover of halo 2 for xbox was a nice shot or try bungie they have some nice sceners for the up and coming halo 3. Happy gaming and inking. ;-)

One thing to keep in mind is that the artist may want/need to do his/her rendition of the character anyhow. You probably don't need a *precise* picture. In fact, more than one in different poses will give the artist some freedom to suggest a pose that would look best, or make subtle variations on what you want from him/her. "Artist" is their job title; unless you're an artist yourself, they likely will have a better idea on how to make the most of a given piece of work.

For my back tat, for example, I gave the basic idea of what I wanted, but knew I wouldn't find precisely what I was describing anywhere. Teresa @ Staircase figured out how to make that into a back piece (incorportating a previous smaller tattoo), and although it's not done yet it's extremely cool.

the best way to find a good pic to to go to websites like electronicgamingmonthly.com, or cheat code websites cause they often have production pics so got to sites like cheatcc.com gamewinners.com and check their links to cause theyll almost definetly have something
