Something I often bring to lunch is yogurt & granola.

My favorite is Stonyfield Strawberries & Cream "Cream on top" yogurt. I also bring a little snack sized plastic bag with some Kashi Go-Lean Crunch cereal. It's really good together and there are always plastic spoons at lunch so I don't have to worry about bringing a spoon from home and then getting it back. The Stonyfield yogurt and all Kashi products are all natural, and very healthy for you. I love that they taste great and are good for me at the same time.

Also, try any flavor of 100% juice for a drink. It's much healthier than soda, and a fine alternative to water if you prefer something sweet or flavored.

You can go with just the yogurt and granola, or pack a sandwich along with it like turkey and cheese if you find yourself still hungry.

Also, fresh vegetables are great if you wash them and cut them up. I like carrot sticks, and then you can find small tupperware containers to pack a little bit of your favorite dressing in as a dip.

Hope I helped :)

Veggie Chips from Trader Joes. It's not really an entire lunch but it's a really good, healthy snack to take to school.

There are a ton of different flavors of hummus so if you mix it up it will not get boring.

a tremendous salad w/ separate container or packet of dressing is often reliable. you're able to be able to desire to place some sliced turkey or cheese or hardboiled egg in for a reliable protien hit. you're able to be able to make fruit kabobs out of strawberries, grapes and pineapple chunks and take cottage cheese in case you could refrigerate it. My childrens incredibly like wraps, too: i could take a lg. flour tortilla and unfold it with herbed cream cheese and layer on some roast beef, roll it up, and shrink it into pinwheels. in case you have a thermos, take warm soup and crackers; rinse the thermos in boiling water and it's going to be warm at lunch. conversing of which, you're able to be able to desire to take cottage cheese in a thermos as nicely; rinse it in ice water and the cottage cheese will nevertheless be risk-free. Hummus with pita triangles and a container of tomato chunks, olives, cucumber and a splash feta cheese could additionally be scrumptious, as could falafel crammed right into a pita with a number of that hummus. considering falafel is meatless; completely risk-free for you later contained in the day. And in case you forget approximately lunch or ought to purchase it, attempt to objective for tuna salad on wheat, or egg salad...keep away from all that nasty, salty, fatty processed stuff they attempt to shove at you. reliable good fortune this year; 8th grade's tremendous.
