Boy, mixed emotions here. Congratulations on your wedding, yet sympathy at the loss of your fiance's sight. I agree with getting the gown and veil from ebay. Our Goodwill also carries LOTS of wedding gowns and veils and I've seen them for under $100. Chik-fil-A is an interesting, and very imaginative idea! Great food and good prices. Our local grocery store makes trays of finger sandwiches, which is what we had at our wedding. As for the place, depending on where you are, you might want to check out your local parks. Lots of them have either gazebos or pavilions where you could have your wedding. I actually went to a wedding at a picnic park and it was the BEST wedding I'd ever been to.

Buy your dress and veil off ebay. You will save a fortune, trust me. I personally would have Chick-Fil-A cater it (but that is just my weird cheap wedding idea). Pick a place with great party platters. And, have your reception at the church - lots of churches have reception halls. Oh, and that is probably going to be the hardest thing to get reserved - so start on that tomorrow. Good luck! I know this may seem overwhelming, but you can have a great wedding on the cheap. P.S. Be sure to go on a honeymoon - even if it is just camping for a weekend!

Go to Vegas in the off season.
get a dress and arrange a chapel (there is one on every corner)
That way you can have a ceremony, and honeymoon at the same time.
If you want the entire family present then do something at home. 2 months is very fast so you might have to settle for a Friday evening (Most Saturdays have been booked for 8 months).

Have a destination wedding in like Gatlinburg, TN. I planned my wedding in less than two months and it was beautiful and perfect! AND... we had our honeymoon at the same time. It is cheap and the views are incredible.

find a wedding chapel - you could get married as quickly as you find your dress. It will be very wedding-y and I think you will both be happy. Buy a dress off ebay - get it a size or two too big so you can be sure it will fit and just have it altered.
