I guess it means that at the end the thing that u may remember most and that may hurt u the most is the fact that ur friends didnt stand by u, they didnt speak up for u, or didnt support u and stand by ur side through this crucial time in ur life..

wutever the cause wuz, ur friends or supposed friends betrayed u when they were needed...so the words of ur enemies(who dont mean much to you), will not hurt u as much as the lack of words or actions of ur friends(which are the people who meant the most to u)....hope u understand wut im trying to say...

I think it means that we will feel more wounded and betrayed by friends who fail to speak up to help us than we will by the words of our enemies who ultimately do not really matter.

To me it means...It is not the battle I will remember...it is who stood with me. If you say you are a friend act like a friend and help don't just sit there while i get beat up.

We don't care or listen to what our enemies say. But, we know when our friends aren't saying anything. We know that our friends know enough to keep their mouths shut. Or enemies don't know enough to keep theirs shut.

AS freinds,we don't say .We do, we support, we dont ask for glory, as our enemies would.Actions speak louder than words.

I think it has to refer to whether we are righteous in our cause and just in our methods. If we lose the support of our friends , the maybe we're not doing the right thing.

it means that you'll forget what names people called you and how mean they were, but you won;t forget the fact that your friends did not stick up for you or help you. (that they kept their mouth shut and walked away)
