The best times for coyotes is at first light till about 9 am.
Then again just before dark the last hour or two.
But these times are for the wormer months under normal light.
The rules change on cloudy overcast or light intermittent showers, on these days all day long is good, the coyotes feel safer and move around more then normal.
In the southern states that don’t get much snow or in states that the snow don’t hang around long, the rules change again.
After a heavy snow storm again all day works well.
I’ve never hunted in Indiana but I would say the early/late method along with the cloudy/drizzly days as noted above should work as well.
I’ve hunted song dogs for over 35 years, and this is when I hunt them with best success.

Note some states allow the hunting of some predators at night time in the dark with specialized lighting, while other states have banned predator hunting all together day or night.
My state allows predator hunting in day light hours only.
You need to check with your states department of wildlife for the rules and regulations affecting you.

There is no night hunting where I live i hit the corn fields early and set up with my back to a road or natural obstruction pond etc. and let off some distress calls. I wait around for about 1/2 hour and move 1/2 mile down the road. Make a day of it. I've taken them at all times of the day.

If coyotes are around you will hear them. Take note of the time and be ready when it comes around.
