you have the freedom of choice; a great gift given to you ; how and when you choose to spend it is your choice; I follow God b/c I have had instances in my life that only a higher power, God, could have intervened, etc; I was saved from drowning at the age of 2 when in all like circumstances, I would be dead and not writing this message; I have seen things and experience things that surpass man's capability to happen in my life; those moments that make you say hmmmmmmmmmm; when things were at the worst, I gave the problem to him and each and every single time in my life (50 yrs) , I have not be let down; I didn't always see the path and sometimes struggled because of my own foolishness in trusting in his time and place for things to happen and it was always better than my greatest expectation; when that happens, it pulls the rug out from under you, and knocks the sense back into me to never doubt God; the best on earth is just a drop in a very large bucket for God; there is life after death - you have to have faith; the magnificence of the world, universe etc and our lack to fully understand and know everything tells you this isn't man made ; science can't duplicate, man can't explain it ; the only one is the one who created the blueprint and created just what we can see based upon our capabilities and in the big scheme of life, planets, etc , is very little.

life after death

I believe in what God's word, the Bible, says. That death is a state of non-existence...that the dead are conscious of nothing at all...that they can't see, think, feel, etc. But it isn't the end either. According to the Bible, there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. 144,000 humans chosen by God will be resurrected to heaven to positions as kings and priests to help Christ rule over the earth (kind of like the Senate...limited number of seats and representatives who fill the positions must move to Washington DC). The rest will be resurrected to life here on earth, but earth's conditions will be as they were meant to be - perfect. Perfect health, no physical defects, perfect living conditions.

Death & The Hereafter

Death is not a "disaster" which should be forgotten but an important lesson that teaches people the real meaning of life. It should therefore be the subject of profound thought. The believers ponder deeply on that great reality with sincerity and wisdom. All created beings are mortal, and this shows that they are powerless and unable servants of God. God is the only owner of life; all creatures have come to life by God's Decree and will ultimately die by God's Decree

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

There has to be either life or eternal death. the physical deqath can't be all there is for human beings because God made us in His image and He is an eternal being. Whether you end up alive or dying is up to you.

I believe after we die we are dead in the grave until Jesus comes the second time and judges us and the people who followed in him get to go to the new earth he is going to make because that's where you hear the expression heaven on earth because we don't go to heaven right after we die (John 3:13) and the wicked go to hell which they will be burned up (Malachi 4)

we are creatures of energy, encased in a corporeal form (your body). one of the laws of the universe state that no energy is lost or destroyed, it just changes form. we do not just die and are gone. we are changed and move on to the next life. even the Christian bible says that we go on after death.
