there is a place online actually that might be able to help you..... actually I am sure there are many... this first one? well... it is where I go when I want to find friends that I lost touch with growing up..... great place... full of info and I always see vets looking for each other on there.... so it is not just for us brats!

http://www.militarybrats.com/

this second link has loads of info on 'Nam... one link appears to be to locate people who served... might be of some help....

http://www.vietvet.org/

worse comes to worse... if you do not have much info... no names or anything? you could try writing to the guy who started either of those sites or any number of others? they are usually vets, or have spent time hunting down the same type of info you are looking for so know where to go... how to do it?

hope this helps out.. wish you all the best of luck!!
