I have been "dating" this guy for two years now and do not know what to do. I am a single mother and he has no kids. He is a great person who has a lot to offer but I have had plenty of horrible relationships and I am afraid to push for anything more than what we have. Right now I feel as if "If it ain't broke don't fix it." The problem is is that we are like "boyfriend-girlfriend" really except that we don't claim that. He has not introduced me to his family because they are still talking about his ex-girlfriend who was in medical school and is about to be a doctor. I do not compare to that. So what do I do?

You have been dating for two years and he has never introduced you to his family?

Kick this boy to the curb sweetie. You deserve better treatment than this.

You need to sit down and talk to him about it. If you want something more than just friends than let him know that. Don't compare yourself to his ex. Just because your not going to be a doctor doesn't mean he won't want you. After all, his ex is an ex. Just tell him how you feel sometime.

first of all, dont ever tell yourself, or let anyone tell you that you dont compare to something. Who cares is shes in medical school she might be a ***** or dead ugly, or have book smarts but noto street smarts. You deserve him just as much as she does! confidence is hot for anyone
