I never get to have much energy, & I'm always tired & hungry.

yes. some psychiatric medications, can make you tired and give you a dry mouth. i have dealt with a lot of people on psychiatric medications, and being hungry all the time is not a common complaint. don't forget to look after yourself physically , and get a physical with blood work to rule out any physical problems. also you can talk to you pharmacist, and doctor to see what the side effects of you medications are, and what can you do about it hope this helps

Some medications can decrease your energy. Talk to your doctor, they may need to put you on something else. Just remember that all medications have side effects, some antidepressants can make you sleepy, can make you gain weight, make you become anorexic, give you insomnia, etc. Make sure you discuss all of this with your doctor before they put you on something if you are worried about any of those side effects.
