My computer has a virus and I can't seem to fix it. I'm doing projects and I also am put on away on msn. My ex-bf is also online. Should I say hi to him and then ask him if he knows how to fix viruses? Would he think I'm just using this as a way to say hi to him? He studied engineering so he may know? Also, HE was the one who dumped me one year ago, BUT he still says hi sometimes on msn. AND just a month ago, he called me to go see a movie with him, but I havn't heard from him since then. Even though me and him are not really friends, is it bad if I ask him for help with this virus thing on msn?

I don't see how an engineer would have super knowledge for viruses...but regardless, there is no harm in asking him if he could fix it or what you might be able to do. Since you are on friendly terms I don't see the big deal.

I would not ask him, he may think that you are using it as an excuse to talk to him. Run a virus scan on your computer with your virus software or take it somewhere like bestbuy to get fixed.

i would say to be friendly but only talk about the virus, unless he brings up other "personal" topics. Make sure to thank him for all his time if he ends up helping you.
