fast foods are not healthy foods, you should eat sweet potatoes, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, black beans and whole wheat breads, oatmeal too, these types of foods will help you put on healthy weight and not fat that gets stored in your thighs and waist line.

Try milk shakes! I had the same problem and started making shakes with a Shaklee weight gain powder. I believe there is a Joe Weider weight gain product you could use as well! If you are not used to alot of dairy try taking some acidophilus capsules. Check your local Nature store for help! I went from 135 to 175 in about 8mos. getting rest helps as well. Take care of your body!

Eat only when hungry and eat/drink only three times a day. Only exception is for diabetics. Water can of course be taken. Chew each morsel 32 times so that ur brain gets signal that u have had enough. Take regular exercises and brisk walks. U will loose/gain gracefully and attain the required weight in reasonable time period.

You are a teenager. Many teenagers are thin, but they put on weight automatically as they grow older. This is because teenagers have a very high metabolic rate and burn calories fast. So you should not try to put on weight by eating fatty food, since it will be difficult to lose this fat later. Check this out for more information http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.html

If your family is filled with small folks, it may be hereditary factors that can't be changed. I believe you must eat a healthy diet, you can add calories to your diet plan. Ensure drinks etc..... The ensure or other drinks are MUCH better if mixed with ice cream forming milk shakes.
