I know many Christians who look down on others for not being Christian with a holier than thou art attitude.

Many Christians (whether they know it or not) love the fact that they can be forgiven from their sins and take this as a license to go crazy, then repent.

Has his whole message of live a good life, and love everyone the same, been forgotten?

Your Thoughts.....................?

Hell Yeah,

What happened to tolerance, loving thy neighbor, turning the other cheek, being a good samaritan?
People use the cloak of Christianity to hide or justify there bad behavior (example: child molesting priests, the christian right leaders engaging in adultery, molestation, or ignoring problems instead of trying to solve them?

Jesus is alive today & I'm sure He is very sad that so many Christians do not live as they should . It says none are perfect no not one . We need to do the best we can & that's not easy . We need to repent of our sins . A lot of Christians have hard feeling aginst others & need to forgive many times over .If we don't forgive how can we expect God to forgive us .
You may not know that just because some one is a christian doesn't mean they are perfect .. We all make mistakes , some big ones , some small in the eyes of other people . A sin is a sin in God's eyes big or little is the same .
We should be more conserned of what God thinks not other people . We all have to answer to God when our time comes . We all need forgiveness & we need to come before Him often , It's not a license to do wrong & shouldn't be used as such . If you did some thing , didn't mean to , a slip of the toung , hurt some one you love very much , . You just didn't think before you spoke . wouldn't you want to be forgiven or would you want this thing to hang over you for the rest of your life .. You didn't do it on purpose knowing that some one would forgive you . Makeing a mistake is human no mater how small or big it is .
Most Christians don't go ahead & do things thinking Oh I can do this cause God will forgive me any way..Most Christians try to do the best they can , some times makeing stupid mistakes .
May God Bless & show You His Love & forgiveness.

I think he would. May of us act like Pharisees sometimes!! But I also think that he would not expect us to be perfect. Sometimes ALL people don't realise the way the behave. We are not perfect by any means . The message has certainly not been forgotten. It is the central fact of Christianity. I would never use forgiveness as an excuse to' to crazy'. Plus forgiveness doesn't mean we get away from the consequences of our actions

Repentance without conversion is an empty gesture. We must surrender ourselves to Gods will, not our own.

To answer your question. He would love us and show us the error of our ways. To correct you, He is alive today. As he said of himself in revelation " I am the Alfa and Omega"

Those that are truly his are forgiven but are remorseful of their sin.
They walk in the light and avoid the very appearance of sin.

Because a person belongs to a Christian church doesn't make them a Christian.

I think he would be upset with a lot of Christians. Not all, but a lot. Certainly the ones who use the Bible and Christianity as an excuse to hate. So many of them seem to forget Jesus's own words, "He who is without sin, cast the first stone." and from the Lord's Prayer, which was taught by Jesus, "Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." Matthew 6

Jesus Christ is alive today. He dwells in heaven and communicates directly with His Church through the Holy Spirit. When you speak of Christians, you are speaking of people at all levels of understanding and maturity. Doubtless there are many things which are called Christian that have little to do with the Will of God in the earth. Personally, I have enough to keep my heart rightly connected and directed towards His will than to be concerned about all the things that are going on throughout the whole Church. That is one of the reasons He has given us His Word - the Bible. He said "He who has My commandments and keeps them, he is the one who loves Me." (John 14:21)

I think for the true saved born again Christians, yes, of course He would be pleased...and He is (because He is still alive)...but sadly I must say there are many people proclaiming to be Christians who aren't, and Jesus says in the Gospel that He would rather us be cold or hot then luke warm, so I know He is not happy with the luke warm people.

Many Christians do not live the life of Christ but Gods name is mercy. There is still time in this state of grace to have a conversion of heart to the love of the Father and live out our christian potential

Disappointed more than upset.

Angry at times, furious at others.

People should never presume that the well of forgiveness will never run dry. If people gratuitously sin against God in the belief they'll be forgiven anyway, they obviously have no faith.

Actually, Jesus said that sins may be forgiven, but only if you truly are repentent for commiting them, and that using this as a crutch for commiting sins is a sin upon itself.
