If you havent, DON'T......You never know what you will get, I can guaranty you it will not be good meat, all these bulk sales businesses use utility grade of meat,in other words OLD cows, tough cuts, everything that can't be sold on the open market. If you want to save money, get a freezer, watch the grocery sales papers and when they have a good sale buy a family package or two, seperate and wash the meat, put it in Ziplock bags in family portions and freeze. Check the end of the meat row, the stores are only allowed to keep meat in the sales counter for 3-4 days, then they can mark it down and keep it another day or two. Catch this meat when it is marked down, the experation date is the SALES date, not the uneatable date. You can save sometimes 1/2 or more on the meat at this time and there is nothing wrong with it. Do the same as with sales above, wash the meat, seperate into family portions and freeze. Meat will keep in the freezer for months, when things are not on sale, you have it on hand and don't have to pay full price. Just remember to rotate the meat, using the oldest first.

It depends on the quality of the meat and prices where you are. However, $3300 breaks down to $275 a month. For my family of 4 that's about 1/2 a months budget for groceries and supplies gone just for meat. I'd be wary.

Unless you have a really huge family I don't think that is a good idea. You would have to consume enough meat to make it worth your money. You would be better off just buying it when you do your grocery shopping, that way it stays fresh and you will have enough room in your freezer.

I'm more concerned about whether or not you'd have enough space in your freezer for storing all that meat.

If you spend more than $70 a week on average on meat, then it is worth it, but if not, then do NOT do it.
