Did you give the mother permission to take the child out of the country? If not, you need to contact your lawyer now.
I wish you luck. You sound like a wonderful father. Be sure to be in her life even if it means you need to move to where she is.
Good luck!

Well maybe you can get an all around plane tickets for you & your daughter,if you are willing to pay to see her or to send her to you.Other than that, the mother has no right to take her out of the country, thats a little too far. That can be considered kidnapping, though she is the mother, but if you want you daughter back in the states, you may have to get a lawyer to take her to court,if you get joint custody, the mom cannot leave the country with the daughter.

What gave her the right to remove your daughter from the country? As far as I know here in the states you can't even take a child out of the State without permission from both parents. Call your lawyer ASAP. A girls father is VERY important for many reasons...studies have been done to prove that!

Send her pictures, call her, send cards, maybe invest in a digital camera phone that connects to your computer so she can see you.
My parents divorced when I was about 2 and I haven't see or heard from my father since (23 years ago). If he had made ANY attempt, I would have welcomed it. Nothing is too small and any efforts will mean a lot to the child. Just let her know she's loved.

well hon let me say this. She is as much your 2yr old daughter as she is you ex..make it known that you want to be in your daughters life. that you are not just a donor that she means the world to you.And ask her if she is willing to work with you so that you both have equal amount spent with her.Remember say that we divorced eachother but the child is your love for life.
