My ex gf, 2 months ago moved across the country. Before she left we realized how much we both still cared about each other, etc, ect. But anyways we have been talking almost everyday since she left. And she is coming back for easter. I was considering when she comes back, taking her out to the beach at night and playing guitar for her.
I recently have picked the guitar back up, had been about 4 years since I used to play. I have written a few really good songs about her, and would love to play them for her. Basically pour my heart out to her- The way I really feel. I know she still loves me very much. Does this sound like something that could be a good idea? And maybe a good way to show her that I am serious? By really just laying it all out there, and giving her a show on the beach? I never really played for her, when we were together. I think she would really be blown away- I consider myself a good songwriter/player. Any thoughts..??? Thanks- MIke

Go For it!
You sound like a really nice guy.
It is going to be a lot for you to do that. All the feelings and emotions you are willing to give her can go both ways. It is romantic, but think about it, she moved away, there is always new guys. Everyone loves the "honeymoon" stage in a relationship, but it ends and things get comfortable. Do you want to lay it all out, not knowing if she wants what you want? I think when she comes back spend a day with her and "feel her out"! If she seems distracted or standoffish maybe take your romance to a lower level.
I hope you can get the confidence to follow your heart, but really think about what lead up to your break up and why you at the last moment decided to hang on?
Your plan is awesome and is full of romance!
Good Luck

If you're good, and you think she'd really enjoy it, I'd say go for it. Most like it when a guy pours their heart out, as you would say. Just don't make it too cornball or anything, and it'll be really romantic.

I guess it would depend on how close you really are. It seems like she shares your feelings, so I say: go for it!

I know I would find it romantic if someone did that for me! :)
