Make sure you have a job or other dependable source of support first.
Also, having some kind of family or friends in the new state would be good.
If your children require childcare, be sure to check references, which is actually something you should do no matter where you live.

If you don't know anyone where you are going, I would suggest that you look online for resources. You can look up single mom groups so that you can automatically get connected and make friends which will be really important for you and your child. You can also look up doctors in the area, churches, daycares, nightlife, ect. Good luck on your move!

Thats real good,I'am a young mother,I wish you and child or children the best,just be careful,its hard living in a place that you don't know anyone,my advise stay stong,do what best for you and the little one & make sure that you keep in contact with your family,b.c. you will always need them.

Get a webcam!! It's much cheaper to talk online... and more personal with a webcam.

get a phone plan with unlimited long distance, and take lots of pictures!!!
