My 12 year old son really wants to be a professional baseball player one day and I was wondering if it was too soon to start giving him steroids? I want him to be on an even level with all of the other players out there and would really like to see him reach his goal someday. We tried out the corked bat last season, but that seemed to only slightly improve his homerun total.

The myth is that steroids will enhance a person's chances at success at physical endeavors such as attempting to become a pro athlete and will not cause serious problems until much later in life, if at all. Steroid abuse is d a m n dangerous, and if you do take so foolish a step, I hope you're found out and put in prison for child abuse, because that's exactly what it would be.

I recommend you put him in a weight training program. Start out small, and go from there. Enroll him in a team, have him take clases. Any excercise program would do him a world of good. Steroids aren't a good idea, as they can do more harm than good. Lastly, I want to wish the lad Good Luck, I honestly hope he reaches his goal.

Don't ever give drugs to your son!!!!! Even tho technically Steriods isn't a drug but its not something that a 12 yr old should be taking! You can still help him out to reach goal by doing other things that involve baseball!! Have him eat a lot to gain SOME weight and have him work it out!!

Steroids can cause many medical problems...a twelve year old can not make this decision for himself, he wouldn't have the understanding of what could go wrong. (Cancer...uncontrollable rage..penis shrinkage,...etc) Don't do it..you could be killing him instead of helping him the risks are to high. I took steroids in high school and now I have uncontrollable steroid rage... an actually medical diagnosis that can be prov-en because my chemical levels in my brain are all screwed up.. Don't do it..

Are you insane? Why don't you just put him in a grave and bury your son now? Haven't you ever heard about all the people who have developed brain tumors and died from taking steroids!! I think someone should call child protective services on you!!

I don't think you should give him steroids AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! It could cause him to have a heart attack, which could cause him to die, which means he will never reach his goal. It would be way better if you make him work out. Or if it comes down to it take him to the docter and see what they say.

Has the steroid problem reached little league now?! If he wants to make his dream a reality, he has to practice.

Chances your boy will make the pros, 1 in a million. Chances that steriods will mess with his growth, screw up his hormones, cause permanent organ damage, and mabye prevent him from having kids: 1 in 3.
If he can't rule the local little league without drugs than the drugs can't make him good enough to make it.
Let him be a kid. Do what's best for him. No Drugs.

I hope that you are really NOT a mother. Maybe you should take your 12 year old to a bar, kick back a couple tequila's, maybe hire a hooker for him so he can be more sexually experienced - then you can wake up from whatever dream you are living long enough to check yourself into a mental hospital.
