You can try honey as it can provide a quick dosage of energy. In contrast to sugar, your body can metabolize it quickly thus, no worry of it being converted to fat. In addition, you will not experience the crash that takes place with the intake of sugar or caffeine.

drink grape juice, the natural sugar will give you some energy, and the lighter you eat...salads, veggies, the less sluggish you will feel. so if you need extra energy, don't hit the buffet too hard.

energy drinks don't give you energy, they stimulate you and elevate your blood pressure. read what's in those drinks. that's not energy that's hyperactivity through sugar, caffeine..
you want energy?
eat right. eat fresh fruits and vegetables... eat grains.
drink your juices... drink that water.
