Did the pagans practice the Pilgrimage, the Fast of Ramadan, running around the Kabah seven times, kissing the black stone, shaving the head, animal sacrifices, running up and down to hills, throwing stones at the devil, snorting water in and out the nose, praying several times a day toward Mecca, giving alms, Friday prayers? My readings are showing me they did. Can this be true?

The ritual of circulating the Kaaba is certainly a pre-Islamic rite, pagan Meccans practised this a long time before Islam, also the Pilgrimage itself long pre dates Islam. Arabs from all over the peninsula made the hajj performing all the rites over several days
Muhammad took the old religion of the Arabs rites rituals etc and gave them a new twist .Its the same in Christianity ,did you know they there was a Easter before Jesus .Which venerated the Roman God Ishtar. This, and much more can be true, because religion is man made, and the evidence can be found in Historical analysis.

Some of the examples you gave sound fabricated and invalid. Shaving the head?? Be more specific, you make it sound like your getting it confused with Buddhism. Running up and down hills, snorting water in and out of the nose? Where do you get this stuff? Either it is something extremely exaggerated or just a complete rumor/lie. Pagans did not pray several times a day towards Mecca, and they did not have Friday prayer. PRE-Islamic Pagans--so what month of Ramadan was there? From what your readings show me, you don't know how to read?

May the peace, blessing and mercy of God be upon you

The pre-islamic Pagans, did circumbabulate the Kabah, as it has existed as a holy place since the time the Prophet Abraham peace be upon him first made it to please God.

However, the pagans had idols, numerous ones in the vicinity, and they used to be praising the Idols, not God. Also many of the tribes except for the Quraish used to do this ritual in a naked state, after the Prophet and the people of Medina came and defeated the Arab Pagans the idols were destroyed.

As for the rest I have by the judgment and wisdom that God has allowed me to have, I know they did not fast during Ramadan.

As for shaving the head, this is part of the Hajj, as well as the rest of it the throwing stones at the pillars representing the devil.

The method for purification, the abulution (known as Wudu) this is how the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him performed it.

The 5 daily prayers were implemented after the night of ascension.

Giving alms was also a requirement of the Islamic faith, of course it is probable that the pagans used to give charity, but it is obligatory for a Muslim to give 2.5% of his annual income to those who are needy (This is Zakat).

Peace Be With You

They probably practiced some form of some of the Muslim rituals, without doubt including animal sacrifice. I doubt they prayed daily towards Mecca. Unfortunately we have almost no record of what Arabian paganism was like before Islam except for a few lists of deities with their Canaanite and Ugaritic corespondants.

they were aware of the prophets before (lyk Abraham) and the similar rituals they did do (lyk pilgrimage) was taken from the previous prophets, etc. however one thing they did wrong was start worshipping countless of idols and treated them lyk gods. for example, wen they took the pilgrimage to mecca, they would bow down and pray to the idols, not Allah. they did not fast i believe nor did they pray 5 times a day.

their system got totally screwed up as soon as they started believing the idols were their gods

No they worshipped idols. During the time of Prophet Muhammed(PBUH*) the pagans who chose not to follow the Prophet(PBUH*) had 365 idols they worshipped as Gods. They made women dance naked in the streets, buried baby girls alive, sold their wives, mothers, and daughters to other men when the sons and husbands and fathers died, etc.
