Source: Norfolk Academy....Proud Students who love Jesus got into trouble for this. Why?........... Then, at some point, our students were chanting, 'We love Jesus.'" During the game and after.

"It was obviously in reference to the Jewish population of Norfolk Academy; that's the only way you can take that," he added. The students may be required to never say the word Jesus again on school property. They must not offend the Jewish people or Muslims.

Anyone should have the right to say or believe whatever they want. Anywhere they want, but not to push it down others throats.

you left out some important facts in your post...like the fact that the word 'JEW' had been painted on the back wall of the gym before the game, and that the chanting of 'we love Jesus' was an escalation of an exchange of chants between the students in the 'home' and 'away' bleachers-it doesn't sound as if the Norfolk Academy students were doing it to express their deep devotion to Christ; rather, it was a calculated insult-hardly a "Christian" act-and the part about 'may be required to never say the word Jesus again on school property' is a complete and total fabrication...not sure what prompted you to pull in muslims-maybe to further inflame people's sense of indignation...lying by omission AND commission seems to make you sound rather silly...and, FYI, hobo-the principle of separation of church and state does NOT mean that students cannot mention Jesus in school...they can even pray, read their bibles, and discuss their faith with each other, provided they do not disrupt the learning process

Well, they must respect if they want we respect them too. Don't you think? You mustn't have afraid to say Jesus's name. And show you are different no better because God did everything. But proud to know Jesus. Be careful how you will say it.

Did Jesus score the winning basket? Otherwise, it was just to taunt the other team.

So you don't offend other religions. It's printed clearly in your question. What part did you not get? It seems Christians used their religion inappropriately at a football game to belittle others. That is wrong. Now they will lose their priviledges.

Can you give a link to this story...sounds like there is more than you are saying. If they were doing it to taunt jewish students then it was wrong.

EDIT - since you didn't bother to give me a link I found it myself...

If you says you love Jesus....the world will hate you ....

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power od God..."

Satan hates the Name that he knows is far above every name and the name that brings eternal life to those who believe.

I guess I'm curious as to why they were chanting "I love Jesus" at a game anyway. Was he playing?
