I collected a jar of grease from the melted fat content off of cooking bacon, ground beef, etc. I was wondering if there is any good uses for it.

Being a southerner, I use it as a seasoning ! A hunk of it thrown into the pot adds great flavor to a big pot of green beans, homemade soup, stew or anything else that might benefit from a little extra flavor. Don't add TOO much, though, as it also adds fat of course. A tablespoon (for a large pot) should do it.

Bacon grease is used to flavor re-fried beans and hot potato salads. It is also used for hot spinach salad and on wilted lettuce, leave lettuce from the garden in the summer....Use it alone and not with the hamburger grease....

if you kept the bacon fat seperate ,[just bacon grease] it makes wonderful home fried potatoes. Use in place of oil or shortening.... Really adds lots of flavor. But since it sounds like you mixed all kinds..NOPE..No Good!

Seriously, you need to throw it away. It's so full of bacteria and stuff that will make your family ill, I wouldn't use if for anything. I throw all mine away, my husband says I can re-melt it and cook in it, but not for me. Sorry I don't have anything more clever to use it for. Good luck.

If it was only bacon fat, you could use it to season green beans, greens, and other homestyle veggies. But with beef fat in there?.... no ideas
