Freezing is what bursts them, not the thawing.

Most likely. Keep them in a plastic garbage bag while thawing just in case. Maybe you can have beer slushies? Yuk.

Put them in a plastic sack & put them in the fridge eventually they will thaw & still be cold

If they didn't burst when they were on their way to becoming solid they shouldn't burst on the way back to liquid.

well i thought freezing them made them bust but if you think that is going to happen then try this:



heat them gradually.....very very slowly.
i suggest you put them in a little above freezing.
like in a car....(be careful if they happen to bust then your in trouble)
just try to get them a few degrees above freezing!
