When I had braces, everyone said to eat apple sauce. Because I hated apple sauce, I would cut my food into very tiny pieces to limit the amount of chewing I had to do.

make some instant mashed potatoes or eat jello or pudding or apple sauce or ice cream or smoothies anything that is soft and u dont have to chew. i would suggest something cold though it will feel good in ur mouth and kinda numb it. u might also try some orajel around some of the sore areas it numbs the sore areas.

Chicken soup is probably the most nutritious food that anyone could ever eat. It's good for just about anything that is wrong with you.
Milkshakes are also very good, and the coldness of it will help with the pain.

Yea, I had braces for almost 3 years. It hurts especially when they re-adjust them and tighten them! Although, these soft foods are nice: ice cream, yogurt, marshmellows, broccoli and cheddar soup, macarroni and cheese, spaghetti.

pasta...if you want meat, just make sure that it is really tender first. I have a George Foreman grill that I cook things in. If it's not tender enough the first time around, I just throw it in there and let it get a little bit more done.
