I need to make a balsa wood glider using balsa wood, glue, and clay. What shape or size should I make the wings or what I could do to the glider (maybe 2 wings) to make it stay in the air for as long as possible?

Go find a hobby page or, better yet, a local hobby shop. They undoubtedly will have gliders hanging from the ceiling. Kits, even, and materials. For longest air time, I would suggest long wings, light weight, good dihedral (that is the angle the wings make with horizontal -- they should be higher at the ends than at the fuselage), and a decent tail for stability. Lightest possible weight, though. And try to fly in a place that has no wind. Gyms are good for contests. Breezes are murder.

This is one of the most difficult types of planes to fly and build properly, so start with a simple design and build light! Buy the correct wood type and weight and you will win any competition you enter whether indoor or outdoor.
