Please give me a source, I have to do a speech for debate, so I NEED A SOURCE to choose you as best answer

There will be no source for that. Your question is rather dumb. If the IRS was eliminated, the U.S. government would have no way to collect taxes and it would just stop. The whole government would end. No Army, no Capitol, no roads, no elections, no nothing. Our government needs tax money to operate and so without the IRS or an agency that does the same thing; you can call it whatever you want, our government would just blink out of existance.

Did you think about this before you asked? The answers very obvious, for a source try thinking and use your brain.

This isn't the kind of thing you're likely to find a source of any significant value. Elimination of the IRS is pure fiction. Even if the tax system in this country was totally overhauled and the income tax was replaced with some other tax, the IRS would still be there administrating it.

If you kept the current tax system and "eliminated" the IRS, it would be the same agency that it is today with just a different name.

If you eliminated all taxes, you'd have anarchy. How long do you think an unpaid volunteer police department is going to protect you from thieves and rapists, or an unpaid volunteer military is going to protect the country as a whole?

Keep your 10 points. I've already got over 60,000.
