my advice would be an amusement park--something coney island like where there is a boardwalk--so you can have a blast during the day going on rides and bumper cars and the ferris wheels and the haunted house---then while the evening is winding down and the sun is setting you can grab a bite looking at the sunset and then take a beautiful stoll on the beach---great time --i promise

If she really likes you men, she will enjoy hearing that you are ashamed because of not having too much money to take her out and she will enjoy talking. If she doesn't, maybe she feels insecure or doesnt like you that much. GO FOR IT!

Take her to the beach but make sandwiches for her and bring a cooler and fill it with drinks because it's much cheaper to buy food at the supermarket. She might think it's cute. Also if you have a boombox (do people still call them that?) with batteries bring that and play some love songs!
