Is it better to just go take the certification w/out the school or go to the school?

I am a groomer and I disagree that there is not much money in grooming. I have been at this for 7 years and make $50,000 a year, not including tips. If you want to be good and make top dollar you need to go to a school to learn. It's not as easy as it looks. It takes lots of skill and patience. PetSmart has a school they will send you to and pay you while you go. That is not the route I went, but it is a great option for those who can't afford to pay to go to school and can't afford to not work much while in school.

Go to a professional Dog Grooming School. You can't learn by just trying it. Also there is not alot of money in grooming. People
don't want to pay much to have their dog groomed, but will pay upwards of $50 to have their hair done.
