The training you'll get as a Marine is far superior to that in any other branch. For instance, I've heard the minimum standards for passing rifle range qualifications for a Marine recruit are the same as Army Ranger qual's. If you're going in to battle, wouldn't you rather have the best of the best at your side, and wouldn't you rather be the best you can be if you're called upon to protect them?

The Marines. They are the few, the proud. They have cooler uniforms. It's much more challenging to be a Marine than a Soldier. When you say you're a Marine, that means something. No matter what your MOS is in the Marine Corps, you're always a fighter. The Marines have their very own martial art. Marine NCOs carry swords. Marines exercise to get stronger, Soldiers exercise as punishment.

You probably can't go wrong with either choice, but there is something undeniably special about the USMC. I have to believe there is a special pride one would feel wearing the dress blues of an United States Marine.

My oldest son was a Marine.
My oldest daughter was in the Army.
My youngest son was in the Air Force.
My grandson is in the Air Force.

They are all excellent branches of the military.

I'd vote for the Marines.

every marine is a rifleman
you go to the marines you will go to combat.
You want to truly prove your patriotism, goto the marines.

Army units arent as well trained on the ground combat scene as marines are. This from an 11B - infantryman.

Bottom line if you are looking for comabt, marines
if you want the best place to get job training and a good mos, go army.

If youre an intellectual, go to the air force. Easiest deployments of them all.

If you want to party, go navy

First, thank you for your service, wherever it may be. I think you should evaluate yourself. Are you better in an intense, smaller, self-sustaining, focused environment or better in a broader, larger, complex, and integrated environment? If the former, then the Marines and if the latter, then the Army. As far as deployments go, the Marines have shorter ones, but I think more frequent and numerous. Either way, thanks and Hooah.

pick Marines if you want to forever be brainwashed. Choose Army if you wanna be a normal person after your service term is over. :)
