I don't think it's abnormal to be a virgin at 24 nor do I think I should have had sex by now. The problem is that I completely and utterly identify with the main character from The 40 Year Old Virgin to the point that I could see myself being a 40 year old virgin without being unhappy in life. I have a low sex drive and it's rare that I find a girl I'm actually attracted to. When there's no such girl around, I pretty much don't care about girls and dating.

Is it normal to have such a low desire for sex and a general apathy towards relationships?

There's really nothing wrong about being a virgin. I personally think that it's more attractive, co'z it only means that you are not just an ordinary guy and that you are careful and picky. Maybe girls and dating are not your priorities right now. I guess you just haven't really found the right girl that you are really attracted to physically and emotionally. I also think that you view sex in a different way. And there are other factors, like the way you were brought up. Maybe you came from a conservative family and sex topics are not allowed to be discussed. But if you think there's more beyond that I guess you should go see a doctor co'z they know better. Well I guess that's all I have to say. Take care!

I don't think that's bad at all.
You probably just arn't ready, and havn't met the right person for you. All that means is that you are not going to through it away so some girl/girls that you don't truly love or cae about.
That's the reason you arn't attracked to many women, or men if you become homosexual, which isn't bad either.
You have a good soul and when the right person comes along, you'll know, and you'll be ready.

Maybe you just haven't found the right girl to ring your chimes!! If you are concerned about a low sex drive go see a doctor and have it checked out, you might have low testosterone levels. Anyway whats wrong with choosing not to have sex?

You haven't met the right one yet, but you will. There's
nothing wrong about being a virgin at 24. But about the
low sex drive could be because you are a little depressed
for some reason. Check with a doctor.

I am 19. I rarely have sex drive. Don't even worry about it man. You'll say you have no sex drive and catch yourself thinking about a woman. If not, what does it matter you are happy with it? Like I want to have a relationship...it doesn't have to be sex driven. Ever consider Asexual as well? You are who you are.... you are trying to live up to imaginary standards. "is it normal"

wear your virginity like a crown!!!!!! You have to have had sex to have a sex drive. You can want/crave something youve never had before. Just remember when you do find that young lady that makes your toes curl you can get her some thing that most men CAN'T!!!!!! your undivided heart and your purirty.

don't mind the rest of these comments.

if you feel content, then don't let strangers tell you there is something wrong with you or that "youre gay" etc. living is all about happiness right? so whose to tell you what happiness is? happiness is a personal opinion and comformity is for people who are insecure. if you are happy being a bachlor your whole life or simply for the moment, then good luck to you.

you'll probably end up being richer than the rest of us.
