I am 16 right now turning 17 in a month, recently, i strated working out at the gym. I am 5'5 and still growing taller i think. Will my muscle building affect my height, will i stop growing if i work out more? Help

I have never heard of muscle building affecting height. However, you should discuss an exercise program with your parents and doctor. also...do NOT take steroids. THAT WILL contribute to many many problems.

No. Your height is genetically determined. The only external factor that could affect your height would be or malnutrition.
